Submissions
If you are interested in submitting a manuscript to the Saudade for consideration for publication, send a query letter and a book proposal (nonfiction only) to acquisitions@saudadepress.com. Your query letter should describe the subject of your book, any issues or problems it addresses, and why it's a soulful and important work of art. We want to know why the manuscript should be published and how it differs from other works of similar genre. Define the audience for the book, and give us a feel for the work's scope, word count, and if applicable a general outline of the book’s content.
